Karen Da Silva is a dancer/choreographer, university lecturer and creative learning facilitator.
Currently Lecturer in Choreography, contemporary technique and performance related practices at the University of Surrey. Creative Learning Consultant for Mercury Theatre, Colchester.  Working with the MAP on the design and development of Housework.
Believes in developing exciting and inspiring creative structures to facilitate vibrant, dynamic connections and learning.
Key Career Events London Arts Board New Choreographers Award. Choreography commission for Woking Dance Festival. Artistic residency with PWC, Seeing accountants perform moving, daring dynamic dance PWC Euro. Choreography research award from Chisenhale Dance Space for her solo Never Always directed by Emma Bernard. Completing her Masters in Dance Cultures, Histories and Practices. Enabling daring and dynamic dance as a leadership tool on The MAP’s programme with PWC Europe.
